Covering Our Communities
We believe strongly in taking care of people. Beyond products to shield customers from the elements, we’re providing vital protection to our communities in a much more critical capacity.
Adequate shelter is a basic human right that we care deeply about. Through our Shelter for Shelter™ initiative, a portion of Shed Rain proceeds goes directly to supporting the displaced and disadvantaged, in our hometown of Portland and around the world.
OUR FOCUS
In 2023, over 653 thousand people in the U.S. experienced homelessness—more than ever before. That includes youth, the elderly, and survivors of domestic violence. Clearly there’s never been a greater need for effective housing outreach. So we’ve teamed up with some of the most impactful organizations around the world, to provide access to the shelter and resources that many so desperately need.

Alleviating human suffering in the face of emergencies.
As partners for many years, our team provided disaster relief to Maui during the 2023 wildfires, with more volunteer opportunities forthcoming.

Providing access to safe drinking water to impoverished communities.
In 2023 we funded the installation of an AquaTower at the Tien Hung B Primary School in Binh Phuoc Province, Vietnam, and are planning to support another community in 2024.

Providing life-saving and life-changing services for people experiencing homelessness in Portland, Oregon.
Through our partnership with Transition Projects, we’ve provided event sponsorship, financial contributions, and hundreds of volunteer hours. We’re proud to work with this incredible organization and will continue to donate resources and funds to those in need.
